- In their 2019 U.S. Open Cup debut, the LA Galaxy defeated Orange County FC 3-0 on Wednesday night at Dignity Health Sports Park.
- The LA Galaxy will learn their next opponent of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup tomorrow in the Round of 16 Draw, which will be announced on ussoccer.com and U.S. Open Cup's Twitter at 7 a.m. PT.
- The LA Galaxy are now 35-18-0 all-time in Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup play.
- Efrain Alvarez recorded the Galaxy's first two goals on the evening, his first goals for the LA Galaxy in an official competition.
- Emil Cuello scored his first LA Galaxy goal in the 90th minute.
- Favio Alvarez recorded two assists in the match.
- The LA Galaxy have reached the U.S. Open Cup final four times, winning the tournament in 2001 and 2005.
- Last year, the Galaxy fell to the Portland Timbers in the Round of 16.
- The LA Galaxy will resume MLS play against FC Cincinnati at 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 22 at Nippert Stadium (Spectrum SportsNet).
