ASHEVILLE, NC - Chris Keck and Brian Mundell each recorded three hits in Asheville's 10-8 win over the Hagerstown Suns on Wednesday night. The Tourists totaled 13 hits in the game and took advantage of three Suns errors to win their second straight over the Washington Nationals affiliate.

Hagerstown jumped out to a 3-0 lead with a two-out rally in the top of the first. Asheville responded with two in the bottom of the first on a Mundell RBI double and a Chris Rabago RBI single. The double by Mundell was his 32nd of the season, which leads all of professional baseball.

Kelvin Gutierrez put the Suns in front 5-2 with a two-run Home Run in the top of the third. Gutierrez finished the game a single shy of the cycle. The Tourists answered with four runs of their own in the bottom of the third. Sam Hilliard roped an RBI double, Carlos Herrera had an RBI single, and Keck notched an RBI single as well.

After Max George led off the sixth inning with a Home Run, Keck doubled and scored to make it 8-5. The Tourists tacked on two more in the seventh as once again Keck connected with an RBI base hit.

Hagerstown managed one in the eighth and two in the ninth, but Salvador Perez induced a game-ending groundout off the bat of Gutierrez. The Tourists ended up winning three of four from the Suns over the three day stretch.

Next up is a four-game series against Southern division leading Charleston. The RiverDogs swept the Tourists earlier this year and currently lead Asheville by 4.5 games. All four games will be played in Charleston with the first coming on Thursday night at 7:05pm.
