PREVIEW: Delmarva and West Virginia conclude their three game series tonight after two straight extra-inning games that totaled 29 frames and nearly 9.5 hours. The Shorebirds are four games behind division-leading Hagerstown with 13 games to play as they look to clinch a playoff spot. West Virginia is the Class A Affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and they've lost four in a row, falling to fifth place in the division. After Delmarva only won three of 15 meetings last season with the Power, they've already won four of the first five this year. Since the Shorebirds opened the season with a 4-6 mark and lost two of the first three series, they have a series record of 9-3-2 over their last 14 sets, going 28-18 over that stretch. Delmarva was just swept for the first time all year on Saturday night in Greensboro, but have a chance to sweep West Virginia tonight.

TONIGHT'S OPPONENT: Right-hander Logan Sendelbach gets the ball tonight for West Virginia. Even though the Tiffin, Ohio native only sports a 3-1 record, the Power are 10-1 when he's the starting pitcher this year. Sendelbach was selected out of NCAA Division II Tiffin University last summer in the 10th round of the MLB First Year Player Draft. He's made one appearance against the Shorebirds, taking a no-decision when he allowed three runs on six hits in 5.0 innings.

LAST GAME QUICK HITS: Delmarva's bullpen saved the day again as the team was forced to play it's longest two games of the season on back-to-back nights. All-Star reliever Ryan Meisinger took his third blown save of the year when he allowed the tying run to score in the tenth, but the Shorebirds got tremendous work from Patrick Baker and Bobby Strader. Gerrion Grim made his first career relief appearance and earned the save. Delmarva blew the game open in the top of the 16th with five runs, including Alex Murphy's 10th HR of the year (his seventh in his last 12 games).
