Shorebirds' Final First-Half Homestand Runs June 9-15

SALISBURY, MD - The Delmarva Shorebirds have just one more homestand remaining in the first half of the 2016 season, and the slate is full of fun promotions for fans of all ages.

Mountaire Farms Faith and Family Night will be one of the biggest highlights of the seven-game set, which will be held on Saturday, June 11 at 6:35 p.m. The evening will feature an appearance by former Shorebird and Oriole star Brian Roberts in addition to postgame fireworks presented by Wawa.

Other promotions scheduled include a hat giveaway presented by Spicer Bros. Construction Inc. on Thursday, June 9 and Bark in the Park on Sunday, June 12.

Thursday, June 9 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws - 7:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds return home for the second Spicer Bros. Construction Inc. hat giveaway of the season. The first 500 fans will receive a black and orange cap featuring the Shorebirds' wordmark and a mesh back.

Fans can also steal incredible savings on drinks during Thirsty Thursday presented by University Village at Salisbury. All 16 oz. cans of Coors Light and Miller Lite, as well as 16 oz. Pepsi products, are just $2 each.

Friday, June 10 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws - 7:05 p.m.

The Shorebirds will do their part to honor some important players in the chicken industry on Delmarva during Perdue Producers Night. The contest will also mark another Orange Friday. All fans are encouraged to wear orange, and the Shorebirds will join in by wearing their orange alternate jerseys.

For those looking to celebrate the start of the weekend with drink specials, the game will be a Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. 32 oz. Coors Light and Miller Lite drafts are just $6 each.

Finally, fans will be treated to the first of two postgame fireworks shows during the weekend. Friday's show is proudly presented by Messick Home Improvements.

Saturday, June 11 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws - 6:35 p.m.

A big night at the ballpark starts early with the Fun Zone outside of the stadium from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Activities include a number of inflatables and games from Barton's, a player autograph station from 5:00-5:30 p.m., music and more.

Saturday's special contest will also be Mountaire Farms Faith and Family Night at the ballpark. Events scheduled include a pregame concert by The Uprising Church Youth Worship Team at 5:15 outside of the stadium, a pregame ceremony for Mountaire Farms Scholar Athletes and a postgame message from former Shorebird and Oriole Brian Roberts.

Roberts, who was a two-time all-star during his 14-year MLB career, will also be signing autographs for fans during the game.

Stick around postgame, as the skies will be lit up with a Q105 Fireworks Show presented by Wawa.

Sunday, June 12 vs. Lakewood BlueClaws - 2:05 p.m.

Delmarva's series with Lakewood will conclude with the team's annual Bark in the Park day. Dogs will be admitted free with a donation to the Humane Society of Wicomico County. The event kicks off with an on-field dog parade at 1:30 p.m., and the Perdue Stadium concourse will feature tables with a number of pet-related vendors. Members of the Junior 'Birds Kids Club presented by Eastern Shore McDonald's will have the opportunity to run the bases following the game thanks to Chili's Grill and Bar.

Monday, June 13 vs. Kannapolis Intimidators - 7:05 p.m.

Monday's series opener with the Kannapolis Intimidators marks another 47ABC Two Buck Monday. All general admission tickets, hot dogs and 16 oz. Pepsi products will be just $2 each. No coupon is required.

Tuesday, June 14 vs. Kannapolis Intimidators - 7:05 p.m.

Every Tuesday during the 2016 season is a Two For Tuesday presented by Eastern Shore McDonald's. Fans who bring a receipt from a local McDonald's restaurant to the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium box office can receive a buy one, get one free offer on general admission tickets. Fans can also receive this offer by showing that they follow @EasternShoreMcD on Twitter at the box office.

All Tuesday contests also feature a Tweet Your Seat contest for a chance to win a prize pack courtesy of Eastern Shore McDonald's.

Wednesday, June 15 vs. Kannapolis Intimidators - 7:05 p.m.

Wednesday's homestand finale will mark another Silver Sluggers day presented by Coastal Home Care. This affordable ticket plan for seniors features tickets to all Wednesday home games.

All fans in attendance can play Baseball Bingo for their chance to win a prize from the Shorebirds.
