GENEVA, IL - Throughout the 2011 season, the Kane County Cougars will be raising money for a number of causes through ballpark promotions for fans including the 50/50 raffle and Pitch In for Charity ball toss. The Cougars will also match the funds raised up to $4000 each month for the following causes:
May - Chicagoland Area Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure

"As an organization, it's with great satisfaction that we continue to follow our philosophy of being good neighbors by supporting a variety of important initiatives at the ballpark this season," said Mike Woleben, who along with Mike Murtaugh, are the Cougars' managing partners.
Each of the four organizations has been invited to take part in an on-field check presentation to be held later this summer at Elfstrom Stadium and be recognized for their contributions in the community.
