
Bees Announce Make up Dates

BURLINGTON, IA (May 5, 2011)-The Burlington Bees want to let their fans know about a few scheduling changes in the coming weeks with the addition of two doubleheaders. The Bees and Quad Cities River Bandits will play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 28 at Community Field at 5:00 p.m. The doubleheader is to make up the rainout in Quad Cities on April 15. The Bees will also play a doubleheader in Wisconsin against the Timber Rattlers on Saturday, May 21 at 5:05 p.m. to make up the rainout from April 21 in Burlington.
The Bees and Cedar Rapids Kernels continue their three-game series in Cedar Rapids on Thursday at 6:35 p.m. The pitching match-up is as follows: RHP A.J. Griffin (3-0, 1.38) for Burlington against RHP Suammy Baez (1-2, 3.65) for Cedar Rapids. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:15 p.m. on Newsradio 1490 KBUR and online at gobees.com.
