Kaden Hammell Named to Hockey Canada Under-17 Roster

Kamloops, BC - Defenseman Kaden Hammell is among 66 players selected to Hockey Canada's Under-17 roster to compete at the Capital City Challenge, a four team tournament in Ottawa November 26 to December 1st.

Hammell was selected by the Blazers in the first round of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. The 16-year-old is pointless in five games with the Blazers this season.

The Capital City Challenge will comprise of three men's under-17 teams that will compete against Canada's National Women's Team in a four team tournament.

Hammell, who is from Langley, BC, is among 20 skaters from the WHL to be named to one of the three rosters.
