Tonight's Matchup: The Brandon Wheat Kings open up a busy month of November tonight when the Red Deer Rebels come to town. It's the first time the Rebels have ventured to the Wheat City since January 10th, of 2020. Jiri Patera made 41 saves that night, in a 2-1 Wheat Kings win.

Last Time Out: 3-1 L vs Prince Albert: The Wheat Kings ran out of gas on Saturday night, falling 3-1 in the back half of a home-and-home with the Prince Albert Raiders. Brett Hyland scored the lone BWK goal, as the Wheat Kings fell to 5-7-0-0 on the season.

Homecoming King: After a quick 1100 mile drive from Kennewick, WA to Brandon, Landon Roberts will make his Wheat Kings debut tonight. The Souris, MB native has played in 63 WEHL games with the Tri City Americans, scoring three times and adding a pair of assists. Roberts will wear #22.

Back to Back: Bret Hyland has scored in back to back games for the second time in his WHL career. The Edmonton, AB native found the back of the next on March 21st and 24th in the Hub vs PA and Swift Current. Through 8 games this season, Hyland is halfway to his career high ten points (4G-6A) from one year ago.

Get Cozy: The Wheat Kings will play seven games at Westoba Place in the month of November, including a six game home stand from Nov 11th-27th, the longest of the season.

Return of the Finn: Overage forward Marcus Kallionkieli made his return to the Wheat Kings lineup last Saturday for the first time since March 7th, 2020 vs Prince Albert. His last game action was May 16, 2021 in Henderson, NV. That night, Kallionkieli scored and was +1 vs the Bakersfield Condors in AHL action.
