The Johnstown Chiefs (7-3-6; 20 PTS; T-2nd North div.) had a successful three game home stand during the holiday week as they went 2-0-1 and got five out of a possible six points. The Chiefs lost in overtime to Trenton on Wednesday, put picked up wins over Toledo and Long Beach on Friday and Saturday. This week the Chiefs will play three games in three nights beginning Friday night at Dayton. Saturday, the Chiefs return home to face the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies for the first time this season before wrapping up the weekend Sunday at Trenton. The Chiefs are currently tied for second place in the North division with Wheeling. They trail first place Atlantic City by six points.

GAME #14 (11/24/04) Trenton 2 - JOHNSTOWN 1 (OT) Currie 30 Saves

Rick Kowalsky's goal with 1:05 left in overtime lifted the visiting Trenton Titans to a 2-1 win over the Johnstown Chiefs Wednesday night at the War Memorial Night. Joe Tallari scored the lone Johnstown goal. Stephen Wood scored the other Titans goal. Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 30 saves. Titans goaltender Chris Houle also made 30 saves.

GAME #15 (11/26/04) JOHNSTOWN 3 - Toledo 2 Desrochers Two Assists

The Johnstown Chiefs snapped a three game winless streak Friday night, as they defeated the Toledo Storm 3-2 at the War Memorial in front of a crowd of 3,104. The Chiefs jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a Steve Hildenbrand first period power play goal. Joe Tallari and Shawn Mather added third period tallies. Maris Ziedins and Reggie Savage scored for the Storm who lost for the first time in four games. Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 18 saves for his 4th win of the season. Scott Fankhouser made 28 saves for Toledo.

GAME #16 (11/27/04) JOHNSTOWN 5 - Long Beach 1 Kelly Goal, Two Assists

Brent Kelly had a goal and two assists Saturday night, to lead the Johnstown Chiefs to their second straight win, as they defeated the visiting Long Beach Ice Dogs 5-1 at the War Memorial Arena. Dennis Packard scored his first professional goal in the second period, while Matt Reid also tallied the Chiefs first shorthanded goal of the season. Dmitri Tarabrin and Shawn Mather also scored the Johnstown goals. Long Beach's lone goal came from former NHL player Chris Kenady. Chiefs goaltender David Currie played strong in goal making 27 saves. Long Beach goaltender Oliver Michaud made 23 saves in the contest.

The Chiefs travel to Dayton Friday night to take on the Bombers (7-10-0, 14 PTS; 7th North div.). This is the fourth of ten games this season between the two teams. The Chiefs are 1-1-1 against the Bombers this season and 45-47-9 all-time. The Bombers are currently in seventh place in the North division and are 3-7-0 in their last ten games.

The Chiefs return home Saturday night to host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies (12-4-2, 26 PTS; 1st North div.) for the first of ten games this season. The Chiefs were 5-3-1 against the Boardwalk Bullies last season and 8-8-2 all-time. Atlantic City has won four games in a row and are 9-0-1 in their last ten games. Atlantic City is currently in first place in the North div.

Sunday afternoon the Chiefs and the Trenton Titans (8-2-3, 19 PTS; T-3rd North div.) meet for the fourth time this season. The Chiefs are 0-0-3 against the Titans this season and 16-19-5 all-time. The Titans are 5-2-3 in their last ten games.
