Hildenbrand Loaned to Rochester
November 30, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Johnstown Chiefs News Release
Johnstown, PA- Johnstown Chiefs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Toby O'Brien announced today that right wing Steve Hildenbrand has been loaned to the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans.
"Steve attended camp with Rochester in 2002-03 and was one of the final cuts which prompted Coach Randy Cunneyworth and GM Jody Gage to think of him. They were looking for a right shot / Right Wing that could play the middle also. Hildy is that guy," said O'Brien.
Hildenbrand, 23, is second on the Chiefs in scoring this season with 6 goals and 16 points in 16 games. He leads the team with four power play goals.
The 5'10, 190 LBS native of Belle River, Ontario will be available for Rochester's game at Houston Thursday night.
The Chiefs are back in action Friday night when they travel to Dayton. Saturday night they return home to face the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies at 7:00 p.m. Saturday will also be NASCAR night. Dale Jarrett's #88 UPS car and Elliott Sadler's #38 M&M simulator car will be on display behind section 9. For tickets call (814) 536-5156 or 1-800-CHF-TIXX.
