John Krouse Named All Star Equipment Manager

Pensacola, FL - The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to announce that Equipment Manager John Krouse has been selected as the equipment manager for the American Conference in the Coors Light ECHL All Star game to be played on Wednesday, January 26 at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania at 7:05 p.m. eastern time.

Krouse, who was born and raised in Rome, New York, is in his sixth season as equipment manager with the Ice Pilots and his ninth in the ECHL. He spent three seasons as the equipment manager for Peoria in the ECHL before joining the Ice Pilots. This past summer, Krouse was named the 2003-2004 Southern Sports Supply ECHL Equipment Manager of the Year.

Krouse's brother Richard works as an equipment manager in the AHL for the Utah Grizzlies. He lives in Pensacola with his wife Kri! stie. One of his goals is to be a head equipment manager in the NHL.

Krouse will join head coach Dave Farrish, defenseman Corey Neilson and goalie Todd Ford as representatives of the Ice Pilots for the American Conference in the Coors Light ECHL All-Star game.

The Ice Pilots will play home to Louisiana tomorrow and Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. Tomorrow night fans will have the opportunity to win two tickets to the game vs. Louisiana on Saturday night sponsored by Black Tie Bridal.

Saturday night's home game is "Elvis Night." Fans are asked to dress like Elvis on Saturday night and a contest will take place during the intermission with prizes to be given away. It is also a Florida Lottery Second Chance Night. The first 100 fans who bring $5 worth of non winning Florida Lottery tickets to the Civic Center box office will receive a ticket to the game.
