
Florida Scores Four Third Period Goals to down Pride

FLORENCE, SC -- The Florida Everblades scored four unanswered goals in the third period to comeback and defeat the Pee Dee Pride 4-3 in front of 1,960 fans at the Florence Civic Center on Thursday night.
Pee Dee took a 3-0 lead just 20 seconds into the third period on Brian Collins' 14th goal of the season.
After that, it was all Everblades. Just 35 seconds later, Steve Saviano beat Sebastien Laplante, ending the Pride goaltender's shutout streak at 220:55, 15:13 shy of the ECHL record.
The Everblades would tie the game, scoring a pair of goals just 1:19 apart, and then would go ahead for good at the 12:31 mark.
Chad Spurr tallied three points (1g 2a) for the Pride in the loss.
