Jets Re-Assign Patrice Cormier to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have re-assigned forward Patrice Cormier to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Cormier, 23, played in three games with the Jets since his recall on Mar. 16/14. He returns to St. John's where he has played in 54 games this season. In his time with the IceCaps this season, the left-handed centre has collected 21 points (6G, 15A) and 89 penalty minutes.

The Moncton, NB native has played in 46 career NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for three career points (1G, 2A) and 18 career penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
