Jesus Gonzalez Joins TinCaps as Martinez Departs

The San Diego Padres have made the following Minor League transactions:
Effective Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019
- Right-handed pitcher Adrian Martinez transferred from Fort Wayne to the High-A Lake Elsinore Storm
- Left-handed pitcher Jesus Gonzalez transferred to Fort Wayne from the Short-Season Tri-City Dust Devils (uniform: #13)
Gonzalez, a native of Venezuela, turned 18 on June 12. He's the first Fort Wayne player born in the year 2001. Gonzalez is now the youngest player in the Midwest League this season.
