Jeff MacMillan Re-Called by Dallas

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH (Dec. 1, 2003) - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League (NHL) affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that they have re-called defenseman Jeff MacMillan from the Grizzlies.

MacMillan, 24, has played in all 21 games for Utah this season scoring a goal and adding three assists with 22 penalty minutes. The Durham, Ontario native has played 256 games with the Grizzlies over the past three-plus seasons recording 20 goals and 34 assists with 405 penalty minutes. After last season, MacMillan was named the Grizzlies Most Improved Player.

The 6-3, 206-pound defenseman was originally taken in the seventh round (215th) by the Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

MacMillan will join the Stars in time for their west-coast road trip that begins Thursday in Los Angeles.

The Grizzlies host the Houston Aeros on Wednesday night at the 'E' Center with face-off scheduled for 7:05 PM.
