P-Bruins to Play Four Games this Week

December 1, 2003 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Providence Bruins News Release

The Providence Bruins begin the week in fourth place in the Atlantic Division with their 10-8-4-0 record (24 points). The Black and Gold is just one point behind the second place Manchester Monarchs and Worcester IceCats. The Bruins had their season-high four-game winning streak and six-game (5-0-1-0) unbeaten streak on home ice come to an end on Sunday, but rank among the AHL's top teams at home with their 7-3-2-0 record. Providence has been hit hard this season by the injury bug. The team has already lost 78 man-games due to injury. At this point last season, they had lost seven, and lost just 118 over the entire season.

The Bruins will play four games in five nights for the second consecutive week. The action begins on Wednesday night in Albany, New York, when the team faces off with the River Rats at 7:00 p.m. The Bruins return home to host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Friday, December 5 at 7:05 p.m., before visiting the Manchester Monarchs the following night at 7:35 p.m. The busy stretch concludes on Sunday, December 7 at 4:05 p.m., when the Bruins host the Lowell Lock Monsters.

The Bruins are currently offering a Holiday FlexTix Special. The Special gives fans the opportunity to receive a free Providence Bruins hat, with the purchase of 10 FlexTix. The Holiday FlexTix promotion runs through December 31.

Tickets for Friday and Sunday, as well as all regular season P-Bruins games are available online on the Bruins' website, www.providencebruins.com, at all TicketMaster outlets (401-331-2211 or 508/617-931-2000) and the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence box office.
