Roadrunners to Play Crunch for First Time

The Toronto Roadrunners play three games in three days for the third consecutive week and fourth time overall this season. The Roadrunners begin the week when they face the Syracuse Crunch for the first time in franchise history on Friday, December 5th. The Roadrunners then travel to Syracuse on Saturday, December 6th to wrap up the home-and-home series with the Crunch. The Roadrunners visit Copps Coliseum on Sunday, December 7th to take on the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The Toronto Roadrunners earned five points last week as they played four games in five nights. Toronto began the week with a home-and-home series against the Hamilton Bulldogs. The Roadrunners defeated the Bulldogs 3-1 on Wednesday, November 26th at the Ricoh Coliseum and then dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Bulldogs on Friday, November 28th. After the home-and-home series with the Bulldogs, the Roadrunners played back-to-back games against the Manitoba Moose at Winnipeg Arena. The Roadrunners defeated the Moose 4-2 on Saturday, November 29th, and were defeated 3-1 by the Moose on Sunday, November 30th.

Roadrunners Earn First Home Win in Franchise History

The Toronto Roadrunners earned their first home win in franchise history on Wednesday, November 26th as they defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-1 at the Ricoh Coliseum.

Hinz Scores First Goal of the Season

Roadrunners forward Chad Hinz notched his first goal of the season on Wednesday, November 26th versus his former team, the Hamilton Bulldogs.

McAslan Records First Career AHL Multipoint Game

Roadrunners forward Sean McAslan recorded his first career multipoint game, earning two assists on Wednesday, November 26th against the Hamilton Bulldogs. McAslan assisted on the Roadrunners first two goals of the game, including Jamie Wright's game winner.

First Ever Penalty Shot in Franchise History

Roadrunners forward Jamie Wright beat Moose goaltender Tyler Moss to score on the first ever penalty shot in Roadrunners franchise history on Saturday, November 29th. Wright's goal came at 6:02 of the second period.

Wright Scores Two Game Winning Goals in Three Games

Roadrunners forward Jamie Wright scored two game winning goals in a three game span last week. Wright scored the game winner on Wednesday, November 26th with 2:54 to play in the third period to help the Roadrunners earn their first ever victory at Ricoh Coliseum. On Saturday, November 29th, Wright scored two goals in the second period, the latter of which turned out to be the game winner as the Roadrunners defeated the Moose 4-2 at Winnipeg Arena.
