Jeff Hamilton Recalled By Islanders

BRIDGEPORT, CT - The American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, top affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders, have announced the recall of forward Jeff Hamilton by the big club. Hamilton joined the Islanders for their road game versus the Buffalo Sabres Monday.

Hamilton entered Monday's game in Buffalo with one goal, four assists, five points and eight penalty minutes in four NHL games with the Islanders this year. He leads all Sound Tigers with ten goals and also has nine assists, 19 points and 12 penalty minutes in 15 AHL games with the Sound Tigers this season.

The Sound Tigers will return from the AHL's holiday break to host the Springfield Falcons this Wednesday, December 28th at 7:05 p.m. in the last contest of a four-game homestand.
