chipped in a goal and an assist

--- STEPHEN BABY: Registered four points (G, 3A) in his last two outings, including a season-high two assists and three points last Wednesday ...Notched eight helpers and 11 points in his last 10 games - his entire output of the season - after being held out of the lineup in the previous eight contests ... Tallied multiple points three times in the last 10 tilts after posting more than one point just once last year - a two-goal effort against Utah on Jan. 26
--- KEVIN DOELL: Currently on a three-game point streak (Dec. 18 - present), collecting two goals and two helpers during that span ... Accrued 12 points (5G, 7A) in his last 10 games - which includes matching a team season-high five-game point streak from Dec. 3 to 14 - after posting five points (G, 4A) in his previous 10 ... Ranks second on the squad with 20 points and third with nine goals in 28 games
--- RAMZI ABID: Posted a goal in each of his last two games after collecting two in his previous eight contests ... Paces the Wolves with 14 goals, 13 assists, 27 points and seven power-play markers in 28 games ... Ranks fourth with 60 penalty minutes
--- KIP MILLER: Notched three points (2G, A) in his last four games, which includes getting the Wolves on the board with a power-play tally on Friday ... Collected a team season-high four points twice this season: Nov. 4 against Milwaukee (4A) and Dec. 9 against Peoria (G, 3A) ... Shares second on the squad with 12 assists and ranks third with 16 points in 20 games this season
--- MARK POPOVIC: Registered three assists in his last four games after being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Dec. 18 ... Shares second on the Wolves with 12 assists in 25 contests; he paces Wolves defensemen and shares fourth on the team with 15 points ... Tallied three goals this season, one shy of matching the career-high four he set in 2003-04 in 74 games with the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks
WOLF TRACKS
--- The Wolves reached overtime on Friday for the second time in three contests and the seventh time this season; the team has posted a 1-2-4 record in the extra session this year.
--- Chicago surrendered two power-play goals on Friday, the first time the team gave up more than one man-advantage marker since Dec. 3 - a span of eight games.
--- Saturday's game against Grand Rapids is Chicago's sixth all-time New Year's Eve tilt; the Wolves have recorded a 3-2-0-1 mark all-time on Dec. 31, which includes a victory last year against Manitoba.
CALLING ALL KARLS
Left wing KARL STEWART was reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday. The 22-year-old forward recorded two penalty minutes in two games with the Thrashers. STEWART ranks fourth on the Wolves with eight goals in 24 games.
NOTABLE
On Tue., Jan. 3, Wolves left wing COLIN STUART will visit the Carol Stream Public Library, 616 Hiawatha Dr., at 4:30 p.m., and the Bartlett Public Library, 800 S. Bartlett Road, at 7 p.m., as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, which has reached nearly 370,000 children in 10 seasons.
