
Moose Re-Assign Bernier to Columbia

The Manitoba Moose, the AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, announced they have re-assigned forward Marc-Andre Bernier to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.
Benier, 23, has played in 16 games so far this season with the Moose, collecting seven penalty minutes. From 2001 to 2005, the Laval, PQ native scored 83 goals and 81 assists for 164 points and 141 penalty minutes in 239 career games in the QMJHL with Halifax and Cape Breton.
Bernier was originally a second round choice, 60th overall, of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
