ELMIRA, NY - February 4, 2015 - The Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, return home from their six-game road trip to host the Florida Everblades for the second meeting this season and the first of three at First Arena.

The Jackals return home from their six-game road trip to host the Florida Everblades. Wednesday's contest is the second of four meetings this season and the first of three at First Arena. The first meeting of the season occurred on December 10th at Germain Arena, which was the fifth game in a stretch where the Jackals played six games in seven nights. The Everblades struck just 12 seconds into the game and increased their lead just over four minutes later. Matt Tassone scored twice for the Jackals, including a power-play tally, but the Everblades added three more in the second and one in the third to push past Elmira 6-2. The last time these two teams met at First Arena was December 11, 2013. The Everblades edged the Jackals in a close 2-1 contest. Elmira is 7-9-0 all-time against Florida.
