AT THE DISH: In his Triple-A debut, Elehuris Montero was 2-for-4 with a pair of singles ... Greg Bird launched his 22nd home run of the season, a three-run blast to put Albuquerque in front for good in the fifth ... Joshua Fuentes finished 2-for-4, extending his Triple-A hit streak to 12 games ... Yonathan Daza played seven innings and went 1-for-4 with a run scored in his first rehab game.

TOEING THE RUBBER: Starter Ryan Rolison surrendered four hits and four runs in four-plus innings, while also walking four and striking out four ... In his 131st career appearance as an Isotope, Nelson Gonzalez (4-0 this season) earned the win by tossing a scoreless inning ... Gonzalez is one outing away from tying Ross Wolf as the franchise's all-time leader in games pitched ... Jordan Sheffield worked a perfect sixth in his first rehab appearance for Albuquerque ... Jake Bird stranded the bases loaded in the seventh ... Chad Smith and Logan Cozart each allowed a run, but Cozart earned his seventh save by fanning former Isotope Elliot Soto with the tying run on second base to end the game.

TOPES TIDBITS: Albuquerque benefitted from four errors by Oklahoma City, a single-game high by an opponent in 2021 ... The Isotopes won their second straight road series opener after losing their first seven of the season ... The victory was Albuquerque's first at Bricktown Ballpark since Aug. 19, 2016.
