Reno blew the game open in the fourth, scoring four to make it a 10-1 game. After Alek Thomas led off with a single, Ildemaro Vargas put one on the berm in right field to make 8-1. Beer would score on another sacrifice fly, this time coming from Jamie Ritchie to make it 9-1. Querecuto would ground out, but score Ramos and make it 10-1 heading into the fifth.

In the fifth, Ramos picked up his fourth hit of the night to score Vargas and make it 11-1. Hummel went on to single and score Beer, the third time Beer crossed the plate to that point.

Aces starter Luis Frias was relieved after the fifth, after allowing just two hits and one run through the first five frames.

Tacoma picked up three runs in the top of the seventh, making it a 12-4 Aces lead.
