IronPigs Issue Statement Regarding "Fourth on the Field"
July 6, 2015 - International League (IL1)
Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs recognize that Saturday's "Fourth on the Field" fireworks show at Coca-Cola Park was not up to the standards and expectations that our fans have come to expect from the Lehigh Valley's leader in family-friendly affordable entertainment. This was legitimately the largest investment, by far, our organization has ever made in a fireworks show and yet we were left extremely frustrated and disappointed in its overall quality. We vow to rectify this in the future and assure you that next year's July 4th fireworks show will be far superior to the one that we experienced this year.
Due to this inconvenience, fans holding tickets to "Fourth on the Field" can exchange each ticket for a Field Level ticket of equal or lesser value to any remaining 2015 IronPigs home game at Coca-Cola Park. All ticket exchanges must be made in-person at the Coca-Cola Park Ticket Office beginning on Tuesday, July 7 at 10 a.m. Ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Fans with additional questions are asked to call (610) 841-PIGS (7447). The ticket office is open for exchanges from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday thru Friday and Saturday's from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We worked hard to provide a great holiday event that included numerous food and beverage options in a fun, accessible and clean environment with as many family activities as possible within our unique facility at an affordable price. But we failed to fully deliver on the main attraction: fireworks. This will be corrected. We sincerely apologize to those that attended this event in not meeting both yours and our own expectations.
Sincerely,
Lehigh Valley IronPigs
