TAYLOR MOTTER, Durham Bulls      IL BATTER OF THE WEEKÂ
This week Durham's Taylor Motter showed why he was elected a starting outfielder on the International League All-ÂStar Team, as he led the circuit with a .636 on-Âbase percentage, a 1.278 slugging percentage, seven extra-Âbase hits, and 10 RBI.  He collected ten hits and four walks in five games including three home runs and four doubles, giving him an IL-Âbest 29 two-Âbaggers on the season.  He drove in all five runs in Durham's 5-Â3 win Thursday night in Norfolk.  For the season, in addition to doubles Motter also leads the League in extra-Âbase hits and total bases, and he's among the top five in the IL in batting average, RBI, and stolen bases.  Motter will be part of the IL squad at next Wednesday's Triple-ÂA All-ÂStar Game in Omaha, Nebraska.  25-Âyear-Âold Taylor Motter is in his fifth season as a professional player and his first at the Triple-ÂA level.  Last season he was named Top Star at the Double-ÂA Southern League All-ÂStar Game.  He has yet to make his Major League debut.  Motter is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida.Â
ANGEL SANCHEZ, Indianapolis Indians   IL PITCHER OF THE WEEKÂ
Just four games into his Triple-ÂA career, Indianapolis righty Angel Sanchez has earned honors as the International League Pitcher of the Week.  He defeated division rivals Columbus and Louisville this week with back-Âto-Âback 7.0-Âinning gems, allowing just one run in 14.0 innings of work and totaling a League-Âbest 16 strikeouts for the first place Indians.  Sanchez has now improved his record to 3-Â0 in four starts with the Tribe since being promoted in mid-ÂJune from Double-ÂA Altoona, where his record was 8-Â1 with a 2.79 ERA.  25-Âyear-Âold Angel Sanchez is in his fifth season as a professional pitcher.  He was originally signed by the Dodgers in 2010 as an international free agent.  He then worked his way to the Marlins, Rays, and White Sox organizations before being claimed last July off waivers by the Pirates.  He has yet to make his Major League debut.  Sanchez is a native of Tenares, Dominican Republic.Â
