
Iowa Wild Reassigns Forwards Jack Walker, Pavel Jenys to Rapid City Rush

DES MOINES, IOWA - Iowa Wild General Manager Brent Flahr announced today the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned forwards Jack Walker and Pavel Jenys to Rapid City Rush of the ECHL.
Walker, 21 (7/30/1996), has appeared in three games for Iowa this season, including his AHL debut on Feb. 19 against Texas. With the Rush, Walker has 28 points (10g, 18a) in 35 contests. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Edina, Minn., was selected by Toronto Maple Leafs in the 6th round (152nd overall) of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft and signed an AHL contract with Iowa on Aug. 1, 2017.
Jenys (pronounced JEN-eez), 21 (4/2/1996), has skated in nine games for the Wild in 2017-18, recording his first AHL goal against Chicago on Jan. 17. Jenys has appeared in 46 games for Rapid City, recording 33 points (16g, 17a). The 6-foot-3, 203-pound native of Brno, Czech Republic, was selected by Minnesota in the 7th round (199th overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year entry-level deal with the team on May 5, 2015.
Iowa begins a four-game homestand with two contests against Tucson Roadrunners this weekend. Puck drop for the first game is at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Fargo Arena.
