March 29, 2018 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Milwaukee Admirals News Release

Milwaukee, WI - With just over two weeks to go in the regular season the Admirals face a pair of important home contests this weekend as they will play host to the Texas Stars on Friday night at 7 pm and then welcome the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday at 6 pm.

The Admirals currently sit in sixth place in the Central division with 73 points, seven points back of the fourth and final playoff spot. However, Milwaukee has played fewer games than all of the teams ahead of them, enabling them to make up ground with victories in their upcoming contests.

Currently, Grand Rapids sits in third place with 82 points, while Rockford is in fourth with 80. Iowa is one spot ahead of Milwaukee in the standings with 75 points. The Admirals have one game left this year with Grand Rapids, none with Rockford, and three more with Iowa.

The weekend beings on Friday night against the Stars at Panther Arena. The first 3,000 fans will take home an Admirals cinch sack, courtesy of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In addition, all high-school and college students can receive tickets for just $9 by showing student ID at the Box Office Window.

Plus, for those fans not available to make it, the game will be televised live on Spectrum Sports with the Voice of the Admirals Aaron Sims providing the play-by-play.

Then on Saturday night the Ads host the Griffins at 6 pm. The first 2,500 fans will receive a voucher good for a free ticket to one of three select Lakeshore Chinooks games this upcoming season.

Tickets for either game can be purchased by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, by logging on to milwaukeeadmirals.com or by visiting the Admirals office at 510 W. Kilbourn Ave. Groups of 10 or more people receive significant discounts off the regular price ticket. People interested in groups should call the Admirals office at (414) 227-0550.
