Ice Dogs Announce 2004-05 Schedule

LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ice Dogs will open the 2004-05 season on Friday, October 22 at home when they take on their arch rivals, the San Diego Gulls. The Ice Dogs begin the season with 11 of their first 12 games at home, including a streak of seven games, their longest of the year.

The Ice Dogs will play 30 of their 36 home games on weekend dates, including 12 Saturday nights. Four teams will be making their first trip to the Long Beach Arena, including the expansion Victoria Salmon Kings who will play in the Pacific Division. The Greenville Grrrrowl, Pensacola Ice Pilots, and Gwinnett Gladiators will also be making first time visits.

On November 21, the 2004 Kelly Cup Champion Idaho Steelheads will be playing their first of four games in Long Beach next season. The Kelly Cup runner-up Florida Everblades will also be stopping in on November 5 and 6. The Ice Dogs will travel to the East Coast for a five-game road trip to take on the Trenton Titans, Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, and Johnstown Chiefs beginning November 23.

The Ice Dogs longest road trip of the season will be eight games, spanning from February 4th through February 20th. Friday games will start at 7:30 p.m. with Sunday games starting at 5 p.m. All other games will start at 7 p.m.

Season tickets for the 2004-2005 season are on sale now in all price ranges. Fans who put down a 25% deposit by June 1st will receive an exclusive season ticket holder jersey.
