May 25, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Texas Wildcatters News Release

BEAUMONT, TX (May 25, 2004) – The Texas Wildcatters announced today they will open their 2004-05 home schedule on Saturday, October 30 at 7:05 p.m. against their arch-nemesis from Louisiana. The game will be the first of ten this year against the IceGators (5 home, 5 away).

The Wildcatters open the season on the road with a pair of games October 22 and 23 against the ECHL Eastern Conference Champion Florida Everblades. The two teams will meet again at Ford Arena in late February to complete the four-game season series.

"We are fortunate to have a great schedule that consists of 15 home games on Saturday night and 32 weekend dates," said Rick Adams, Managing Partner of the Texas Wildcatters. "Seven teams return to Ford Arena and fans will get a chance to watch nine new teams make their first appearance in Southeast Texas."

The Wildcatters will face-off against division rivals Mississippi Sea Wolves and Pensacola Ice Pilots a total of ten times each (5 home, 5 away). The team will bring in the New Year at home on January 1, against the Reading Royals.

Other home games of note include a pair of games against the ECHL Kelly Cup Champions, the Idaho Steelheads, March 19 and 20 and a visit from the Victoria Salmon Kings, the first ECHL team outside of the United States on March 17.

Season tickets for the 2004-05 season are now on sale. For as little as $50.00, you can reserve your seat for the second year of Wildcatters hockey in Southeast Texas. Season ticket holders enjoy the same great seats for all 36 games without waiting in line at the box office and free parking. A private meet and greet party with the players, merchandise discounts, ticket exchange program and a gift from the team are some of the many additional benefits of being a season ticket holder.
