
Lynx Release 2004-05 Season Schedule

Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx released their 2004-05 Season schedule in conjunction with the ECHL today.
The Lynx, which begins its seventh season in Augusta, will play a total of 72 games (36 home, 36 road) over the course of the regular season. The club will open at home against the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, October 22nd at 7:35 pm, followed by the Roanoke Express in town on Saturday, October 23rd at 7:35 pm. Friday's opener is the first of nine games the Lynx will play against Gwinnett, five of which will come at home. After the Gladiators, the Lynx play Columbia seven times (three at home) and Charlotte, Greenville, Pensacola, South Carolina, and Pee Dee six times each. Eastern Conference Champion Florida will play the Lynx at home three times this year, starting Tuesday, January 11th at 7:05 pm, followed by back to back games on Friday, February 4th and Saturday, February 5th at 7:35 pm. Mississippi makes their only appearance of the season on Sunday, April 3rd at 4:05 pm. Augusta will wrap up the regular season with a home-and-home series against Gwinnett starting Friday, April 8th on the road and finishing Saturday, April 9th at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center at 7:35 pm.
Other schedule highlights include Augusta in Florence against the Pee Dee Pride on New Year's Eve, then returning to Florence once again on St. Patrick's Day. An April Fools Day game will see Augusta in Greensboro to battle the Generals. The Texas Wildcatters will make their Augusta debut on Sunday, March 13th at 4:05 pm, returning on Tuesday, March 15th at 7:05 pm.
Further breakdowns of the schedule are listed below, followed by a complete calendar of games. Start times for home games are the same as last season: Monday â Thursday 7:05 pm; Friday and Saturday 7:35 pm; Sunday 4:05 pm.
