Grizzlies, My Utah TV Announce Broadcast Schedule
February 13, 2013 - ECHL (ECHL)
Utah Grizzlies News Release
West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies and My Utah TV (KMYU) announced today a three-game broadcast schedule of Grizzlies Hockey for the remainder of the 2012-2013 season.
The Grizzlies and My Utah TV will broadcast games starting this Saturday when Utah hosts the Alaska Aces for their seventh annual "Pink in the Rink" game at Maverik Center. Face-off is at 7 p.m. In addition, games on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 30 will be televised with Utah taking on the Colorado Eagles in both games.
The "Voice of the Grizzlies" Adrian Denny will handle play-by-play for the broadcasts while Talkin' Sports/KUTV's Adam Mikulich will be between the benches providing color commentary and analysis live from the playing surface and interjecting throughout. The 1-Up/1-Down technique, used in many hockey broadcasts in the United States and Canada, gives viewers the ultimate experience of what is really happening at ice level during the game.
The Grizzlies and My Utah TV are pleased to welcome Maverik as the presenting sponsor and Siegfried and Jensen and Sierra RV as title sponsors for the hockey broadcasts.
KMYU can be seen in Utah on channel 12 on DirecTV and Dish Network, channel 22 on Comcast and channel 2.2 over the air.
In addition, the telecasts will be simulcast live on the home of Utah Grizzlies Radio, 1320 KFAN.
The Grizzlies continue their seven-game home stand tonight with Las Vegas. It's A Wild $2 Wednesday with $2 Hot Dogs, $2 Fries, $2 Soft Drinks and $2 Draft Beers. Students with ID can get $5 tickets.
Utah is home this weekend for Military Night Friday and Pink in the Rink Saturday for breast cancer awareness. Friday, active military in uniform and veterans can get 50-percent off tickets.
