
Houston Aeros Recall John Curry

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that G John Curry has been loaned to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Houston Aeros.
Curry has played in 31 games for the Solar Bears this season, collecting a 17-11-2-0 record, 2.72 GAA, and .913 save percentage. He has twice been recalled by Houston, but has not yet appeared in a game with the Aeros. Curry has played 177 games in his AHL career, all with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, collecting a 103-59-6 record, 2.49 GAA, and .907 save percentage. In 38 career ECHL games, he has posted a 2.76 GAA, .910 save percentage, and 21-12-2 record. The Shorewood, MN, native has appeared in four games with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL, going 2-2-0 with a 3.79 GAA and .867 save percentage.
