
Road Warriors Announce Pink in the Rink Night

Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors have partnered with The Mary Kay Foundation to present the 3rd Annual Pink in the Rink Game on Sunday, February 24th at 4p.m. against the South Carolina Stingrays.
The Road Warriors will wear special Pink in the Rink Jerseys, pictured below, in an effort to raise awareness about women's cancers & domestic abuse. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game with the proceeds donated to the Mary Kay Foundation. The game will also feature pink lines in place of the normal red lines and faceoff circles.

"Cancer affects over a million people in this country every year and unfortunately, it is a disease that has touched most everyone's life in some way. We are proud to join the MaryKay Foundation in the battle against cancer and domestic abuse and look forward to tremendous support from our fans and partners on the 24th," said Executive Vice President & General Manager, Chris Lewis. "This game has been a very popular event each of the past two seasons and we are excited to help generate more awareness and support for two important causes while providing a fun and exciting afternoon of hockey for our fans."
The Mary Kay Foundation is committed to eliminating cancers affecting women by supporting top medical scientists who are searching for a cure for breast, uterine, cervical and ovarian cancers. The Mary Kay Foundation is also committed to ending the epidemic of domestic violence by providing grants to women's shelters and supporting community outreach programs. Since the Foundation began in 1996, it has granted $25 million dollars to organizations fighting cancer and violence against women.
