K-Wings Young Heads to Albany

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, three-time defending North Division Champions and National Hockey League affiliate to the Vancouver Canucks, and American Hockey League's Chicago Wolves announce that defenseman Harry Young has been reassigned to the Albany Devils by the New Jersey Devils.

This will be Young's second call up to the Devils this season. By heading to Albany, Young becomes the 13th member of the K-Wings this season to be either reassigned or loaned to an AHL club.

The K-Wings will return home to start a brief two-game home stand tomorrow, Thursday, February 14th with a 7 p.m. face-off versus the Trenton Titans during the 13th Annual Valentine's Day Pink Ice Game, presented by WKFR, SeaLandAir Travel, Apple Vacations "America's Favorite Vacation Company," and Riu Caribe.

Fans coming to the game will have a chance to qualify for a four-night trip for two adults to Riu Caribe in Cancun, Mexico courtesy of SeaLandAir Travel and Apple Vacations. Two more fans will have an opportunity to qualify for the trip during the K-Wings home games on Friday, March 1st and Saturday, March 9th.

Kalamazoo will remain at home on Friday, February 15th for a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye during the 2nd Annual Susan G. Komen Game, presented by Consumers Energy. During the game, the K-Wings and the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Southwest Michigan will be honoring cancer survivors.

Kalamazoo will also be wearing special jerseys for both home games this week. A silent auction will start during the pink ice game and conclude on Friday, February 15th during the K-Wings-Walleye contest. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Susan G. Komen of Southwest Michigan.

Single-game tickets for the 2012-2013 season are on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office hours are Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday's. To charge tickets by phone, please call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $13 and $17.50 for adults and only $7 for kids ages 14 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more.

Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single-game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $2 (adults only).
