Grizzlies Lose Tjarnqvist; Re-Call Warren Peters

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies National Hockey League affiliate, the Dallas Stars, announced today that right wing Mattias Tjarnqvist has been re-called to the Stars.

Tjarnqvist, 24, has played in 13 games with the Grizzlies scoring two goals and adding one assist while recording 12 penalty minutes.

The Umea, Sweden native was originally a third round selection (96th overall) of the Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

The Grizzlies also announced that they have re-called center Warren Peters from Idaho (ECHL).

Peters, 21, has played in 12 games with the Steelheads scoring three goals and adding four assists with a +3 rating and 22 penalty minutes.

The Grizzlies open a four-game home stand tomorrow night when they host the Manitoba Moose. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
