Grizzlies Home Tonight; Make Another Trade

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that the team has acquired forward Danny Stewart from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for financial considerations.

The 5-foot-11 Stewart appeared in two games this season with Bakersfield, tallying 15 penalty minutes. The rookie spent last season with Prince Edward Island of the QMJHL where he scored 29 goals and added 38 assists for 67 points in 58 games.

The 21-year-old was drafted by Montreal (4th round, 123rd overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

In addition, goaltender Sean Fields and defenseman Tobias Liberg have been activated from injured reserve. Goaltender Jon Volp has been placed on 30-day IR.

The Grizzlies return to action tonight and tomorrow hosting the Victoria Salmon Kings at 7:05 p.m. at the E-Center.
