West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies scored five unanswered goals to defeat the Victoria Salmon Kings 7-3 Friday night at the E-Center. Utah had seven players in the lineup with multiple-point nights.

Utah got the scoring started 46 seconds into the game with Brendan Cook scoring. The goal was the fastest scored to start the game by Utah this season.

Victoria scored two straight goals to take a 2-1 lead. The Grizzlies responded just 30 seconds later with Ryan Kinasewich scoring his fourth goal of the season and the game was tied going to the second period. Utah was outshot 17-9 in the first.

In the second, the Salmon Kings scored a shorthanded goal to take a 3-2 lead. This time, it took Utah 32 second to get the equalizer and tie the game at three; Matt Craig's third of the year.

Utah added a power-play goal at 14:27 of the second to take the lead for good, with Brad Herauf scoring. The goal ended a string of 61 straight power-play opportunities without a goal.

In the third, Utah added three more with Tyler Liebel, Ryan Kinasewich and Justin Cox lighting the lamp.

Rob McVicar stopped 32 of 35 shots for Utah in the victory.

Each team had 35 shots in the game.

Utah goes for the two-game series sweep of the Salmon Kings tomorrow as they complete their mini two-game home stand. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
