
Grizzlies Fall 4-3 To Idaho

West Valley City, Utah - The Idaho Steelheads defeated the Utah Grizzlies (27-22-0-5) 4-3 Monday night at the E-Center.
Utah took a 1-0 lead 8:46 into the first with Rob Sirianni (6) scoring in his first game since being injured on January 3. Sean Offers and Travis Rycroft added assists. The Grizzlies outshot Idaho 12-4 in the period.
In the second, Idaho took over with three of the periods four goals as they outshot Utah 19-13. Tyler Haskins scored Utah's only goal 14:47 into the period to make the score 2-2 for 27 seconds before Idaho reclaimed the lead at 3-2.
The two teams traded goals in the third with Travis Rycroft (6) making it 4-3 on a setup from Chris Gaudet.
Utah added an extra-attacker with 2 minutes left but was unable to get the equalizing goal on Idaho's Kellen Briggs.
Mike Mole (16-10-0-4) stopped 24 of 28 shots as his eight-game unbeaten streak came to an end.
Utah now hits the road for four-straight games starting Thursday in Phoenix. Face-off is scheduled for 7:11 p.m.
