LAST WEEK: Fresno went 1-0-1 on its two-game road trip to Victoria last week. The Falcons are 27-12-8 for 62 points and remain in second place of the Pacific Division.
Monday, February 11 @ Victoria FALCONS 3 Salmon Kings 2
Fresno was out-shot for the first time in 11 games, but the Falcons were able to hold on for a 3-2 win on Monday in Victoria. Igor Gongalsky opened the scoring 8:32 into the first period, but the Salmon Kings pulled even on a Wes Goldie tally late in opening frame. Fresno forged back ahead on a power-play goal from Brady Leisenring midway through the second period, and a P.O. Beaulieu score late in the period. The Salmon Kings pulled back within one midway through the third, but Kris Mayotte held Victoria off the board the rest of the way, finishing with 38 saves on the night, to pick up the win.
Tuesday, February 12 @ Victoria Salmon Kings 6 FALCONS 5 (OT)
Brady Leisenring's first pro hat trick was not enough for the Falcons, who dropped a back-and-forth game in overtime to Victoria, 6-5 in overtime on Tuesday. Leisenring scored the lone first-period goal four minutes into the contest, but the Salmon Kings roared back with four unanswered goals to take a 4-1 lead. Josh Ciocco pulled Fresno to within two late in the second period, and the Leisenring scored twice in the first 11 minutes of the third period to knot the score. Mike Ramsay put the Falcons ahead at 15:24, but Victoria forced overtime with just 50 seconds remaining in regulation. The Salmon Kings wasted no time in the extra session, scoring just 19 seconds in to pick up the win.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Monday, February 18 vs. Stockton 1:00 p.m.
The Falcons and Thunder meet for the sixth of 10 times this season, and for the third time in Fresno. The Falcons are 3-2-0 overall against the Thunder this season, and 2-0-0 at Save Mart Center. Stockton is tied with Bakersfield for the eighth and final playoff spot in the National Conference with a 19-28-3 record for 41 points.
PROMOTIONS: President's Day with the Falcons, presented by Little Caesar's, ABC 30, and 93.7 KISS Country. The first 2,000 fans in attendance receive a Freddie Falcon for President bobblehead, and all kids 14 and younger can vote in Freddie's Primary. A special $7 ticket is available for all kids 14 and younger, as well as all students, educators, and city, county, and federal employees who present a valid ID at the Save Mart Center Box Office. Fans will also have the chance to enter Falcons-U.S. Army Strong Push-up Challenge.
Tuesday, February 19 vs. Alaska 7:00 p.m.
After meeting six times in the first 12 games of the season, the Falcons take on the Aces for the first time since November 24. Fresno is 2-3-1 overall against Alaska this season, and 2-1-0 at home. The Aces are in fourth place of the West Division with a record of 24-19-5 for 53 points.
PROMOTIONS: Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., KMPH Fox 26, and KRZR 103.7 FM. Fans can stop by any local Carl's Jr. and pick up a voucher allowing them to purchase one ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for free.
Friday, February 22 vs. Stockton 7:30 p.m.
Stockton returns to Save Mart Center for the third time in 14 days for the seventh head-to-head meeting of the season. The Falcons are 18-4-1 all-time against the Thunder.
PROMOTIONS: Rodeo at the Rink, presented by U.S. Army, 93.7 KISS Country, and Mega 97.9. The first 3,000 fans in attendance receive a free bandana, and fans can also bit on several items in a silent auction to benefit the Central California Blood Center. Following the game, join the Falcons players for a post-game party at Logan's Roadhouse, located at Blackstone and El Paso, across from River Park.
Sunday, February 24 @ Bakersfield 2:00 p.m.
Fresno and Bakersfield meet for the first time since December 12 on Sunday at Rabobank Arena. The Falcons are 4-1-1 overall against the Condors this season, and are 2-0-1 at Bakersfield. The Condors are 16-25-9 on the season for 41 points, and are tied with Stockton for both third place in the Pacific Division and eighth place in the National Conference.
FALCONS NOTES
- Fresno has just one regulation loss in its last 10 games (6-1-3).
- The Falcons are 19-1-5 when scoring first this season.
- Brady Leisenring is on a three-game goal streak (5g) and a six-game point streak (5g, 6a).
- John Morlang (3g, 10a) and Luke Curtin (6g, 13a) both have at least one point in nine of the last 10 games.
- Curtin is fifth in ECHL history with 372 assists, and trails Darryl Noren and John Spoltore for third place by 18 assists. His 562 points are 13th in league history, and is five points behind Darren Colbourne for 12th.

SELECT YOUR SEAT AT SELLAND ARENA
The Falcons will hold a Select Your Seat Night at Selland Arena this Thursday, February 21. Current season-ticket holders will have the first choice of seats from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. From 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., the general public will have the opportunity to select their seats.
