
Cyclones and Meijer Team Up For Promotional Dates

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League and Hamilton Bulldogs and Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League, announced this afternoon that they will be partnering with Meijer stores in the region with appearances and merchandise.
The Cyclones will be making four stops at area Meijer stores and will be grilling John Morrell products for customers and allowing people to meet players and check out the line of team apparel that each store will now be carrying. These apparel items will be available only at Meijer locations. The Cincinnati Cyclones and Meijer worked together last season with the 'Meijer Concrete Clones' program that allowed children to learn about the game, playing hockey in the parking lots of various Meijer stores. Cyclones Head Coach Chuck Weber and assistant coach Dean Stork taught the clinics throughout the summer.
The dates of the stops are as follows:
Monday February 18 Colerain Township 4-6pm
Monday February 25 Florence, KY 4-6pm
Wednesday March 5 West Chester 4-6pm
Monday March 10 Field Ertel 4-6pm
The Cincinnati Cyclones open a four game homestand Wednesday morning (10am) when Mississippi comes to town. Tickets for all games can be purchased at the U.S. Bank Arena ticket office, or by calling TicketMaster at 513-562-4949. All tickets (except VIP) have been discounted to $10 each for the rest of the regular season.
