Utah's Johnson Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Utah right wing Justin Johnson for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #626 against Bakersfield on Feb. 16.

Johnson was assessed a game misconduct penalty - aggressor and a game misconduct penalty - secondary altercation at 14:23 of the third period.

Johnson is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Johnson will miss Utah's game vs. Idaho (Feb. 18).
