Grizzlies Acquire Former ECHL All-Star Ganga

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie announced today that the team has acquired forward Nick Ganga from the Long Beach Ice Dogs in exchange for future considerations.

In 17 games this season with Bakersfield and Long Beach, Ganga tallied two assists and 52 penalty minutes, while also spending six games playing in Quebec.

During the 2003-2004 season, the native of Long Beach, California was selected as an ECHL All-Star.

In total, the 6-foot-3 forward has played in 124 ECHL games tallying 18 goals, 21 assists and 328 penalty minutes. He played college hockey at Ohio State.

The Grizzlies return to the E-Center Wednesday hosting Alaska. Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
