Long Beach, California - After falling down 3-0 on Friday, Utah was able to pull-off the comeback and win. Saturday Night the Grizzlies were not as successful as they fell behind early and were never able to catch-up, falling in Long Beach 7-2.

The Long Beach Ice Dogs jumped off to a fast start for the second straight night. Ryan Bennett got the Ice Dogs started tipping in his 7th of the season just 1:17 into the game. Bennett continued his strong start putting home a rebound on the power-play with 9:16 remaining in the first period.

The second period for the second straight night was the period where all the goal scoring occurred. Long Beach just as the night before grabbed a 3-0 lead, when Bo Cheeseman tipped in a power-play goal for his 10th of the season just 2:40 into the period. Utah cut into that lead just over two minutes later on the power-play when Ryan Kinasewich banged one home for his 25th of the season from Luciano Aquino. Just over a minute later Chris Collins gave the Ice Dogs the 3-goal lead back for his 7th of the year. Long Beach grabbed a 5-1 lead when Ash Goldie scored his 15th of the season shorthanded on a breakaway. Utah, just before the close-out of the period, cut into Long Beach's lead, when Kinasewich connected from the point on the power-play for his second of the game. Assists were given to Brendan Cook and Blake Robson.

Long Beach continued their onslaught scoring 1:44 into the third as Gabe Proulx scored on a blast from the point. Long Beach finished off the scoring when Terry Harrison threw a shot in front that found its way in to give Long Beach a 7-2 lead.

Rob McVicar stopped 17 of 24 shots.

Utah returns home next Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hosting Phoenix to open a ten-game home stand. All face-offs are scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
