@ Bakersfield Condors
Game two of a two-game series
GAME ONE: Victoria has become quite familiar with Bakersfield, having faced them five times in a span of 20 days. The Condors opened the scoring with a shorthanded bankshot goal early in the first period, but the Salmon Kings replied with a tough angle goal of their own at the hands of Wes Goldie to tie the game.
Before the end of the first, Kiel McLeod finished a feed from Robin Gomez for the Victoria lead.
Bakersfield responded early in the second with a powerplay marker from Alex Kim, but Jordan Krestanovich popped in a shorthanded goal nearly halfway through the period for the Victoria advantage.
Marc-Andre Bernier tallied his fourth goal in four games versus Bakersfield to put Victoria ahead by two in the third stanza. Kim earned his second goal of the game to close the gap, but the Salmon Kings held on to deflate the Condors five-game winning streak at home.
