
Goepfert Returns to Rays

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/General Manager Jared Bednar announced today that the Hershey Bears have sent goaltender Bobby Goepfert back to South Carolina.
Goepfert, 25, did not appear in any games for the Bears during his call up, but overall this season, he has played three games with the Hershey Bears this season going 1-0-1. The Kings Park, NY native returns to the Stingrays with the best goals against average and save percentage in the ECHL (1.77 gaa, .933 sv%). In 10 games with the Rays, Goepfert has a record of 6-1-3.
