Gladiators Foundation for Kids Accepting Grant Applications

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that they are now accepting Grant Applications for the "Gladiators Foundation for Kids" Fund.

Grants will range from $250 to $1,000, with no grant to exceed $1,000 for programs and specific projects of the organization submitting the request. Applications will be accepted through December 15th with grants awarded in February of 2007.

The organization that is making the Grant Application must be a registered 501-c-3 non-profit and based in Georgia whose key emphasis is on children and child related activities. Applications will be reviewed and considered by the Gladiators Foundation for Kids Board of Directors.

Groups and organizations that are interested in applying for a Grant can download the complete instructions online at www.gwinnettgladiators.com or stop by the Gwinnett Gladiators offices located in the Performing Arts Building of the Gwinnett Center to pick up an application.

The Board of Directors for the Gladiators for Kids fund includes Toby Jeffreys - Majority Owner of the Gwinnett Gladiators, Steve Chapman - President and General Manager of the Gwinnett Gladiators, Jim Hall - Gwinnett Gladiators Director of Community Relations, Jackie Ginn - Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce and Kathy Pessolano - Gwinnett Gladiators Season Ticket Holder.

The American Conference Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their fourth season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Tuesday, November 21st at 7:05 p.m. as they host the Charlotte Checkers. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties.
