Week In Review

Tuesday, November 14

Augusta 4 @ South Carolina 3 (SO)

Jamie Johnson scored twice in regulation for the Lynx and Ryan Lang collected two assists as Augusta beat the Stingrays in an eight round shootout Tuesday night. Dave McKee made 41 saves through overtime and stopped six of eight shooters in the shootout for the victory. Joe Pereira scored Augusta's other regulation goal.

Friday, November 17

Augusta 6 @ Texas 5 (OT)

Louis Goulet's four-goal performance paced the offense for the Lynx including the overtime game winner, while the team also got offensive contributions from Ryan Lang (3 assists), J.B. Bittner (1-2-3), Jamie Johnson (1-2-3), and Joe Cardarelli (2 assists). Dave McKee once again earned the win with 37 saves.

Saturday, November 18

Augusta 4 @ Texas 7

The Lynx recorded a power play goal in their 11th straight game, going 3-for-9 with the man advantage, but were unable to overcome the Wildcatters in a 7-4 loss. Ryan Lang (2-1-3), Joe Cararelli (2 assists), Sean Blanchard (1-1-2), and Louis Goulet (1-2-3) all notched multiple point efforts in the loss.

Lynx Radio Hour

Lynx head coach Bob Ferguson will join the Voice of the Lynx Tom Callahan as the Lynx Radio Hour returns to Indigo Joe's, 3730 Wheeler Rd. in Augusta from 7-8 pm. Don't forget you receive a free non-alcoholic beverage with your Black and Blue Burger! Come bring the family out to Indigo Joe's.

Lynx News and Notes

Ryan Lang has a five-game point scoring streak in progress (5-8-13) and leads the team in goals (9) and points (20). Lang is ranked T-3 in ECHL scoring... Dave McKee leads ECHL goaltenders with three shootout wins, is second with eight total wins, ranks fourth in saves with 355, and is fifth in minutes played at 651... Jamie Johnson has points in his last four straight games (4-5-9) and ranks first on the Lynx with 13 assists and 10 power play points... Louis Goulet's four-goal game in Texas Friday night ties him with Gwinnett's Colton Fretter and Utah's Brad Herauf for most goals in a game this season... Augusta now has a power play goal in their last 11 games, going 19-90 (21.1%) over that span... This week represents the last week of a stretch that has seen the Lynx play 13 of 15 away from home, dating back to Oct. 27 and ending Saturday in Pensacola.

Player and Goaltender of the Week Nominations

Goaltender Dave McKee and forward Ryan Lang were this week's nominations for ECHL Goaltender and Player of the Week, respectively. Winners will be announced by the ECHL on Tuesday.

Help Out In The CSRA

Fans are encouraged to help make a difference this Thanksgiving by bringing a non-perishable food donation to the game on Tuesday to help support the Golden Harvest Food Bank. All donations collected will go to help the less fortunate right here in the CSRA. Help make a difference Tuesday night!

ALBC On The Road!

The Augusta Lynx Booster Club is heading to Charlotte to back the Lynx as they battle the Checkers on Saturday, December 2 and Saturday, December 30. Each trip is $50 and includes travel to and from the contest and ticket to the game. The bus will leave from the Augusta Ice Sports Center parking lot at 2 pm on game day, returning after the contest.

Ticket Information

Single seats may be purchased through the Lynx office at 551 Greene Street by calling (706) 724-4ICE or via all TicketMaster locations and on line at www.TicketMaster.com. Tickets are $18, $15, and $11, with discounts available for students, seniors, and military personnel. Fans may also still purchase full and partial season ticket plans by calling the office and speaking to a Lynx ticket representative.
