
Giuliano Gets The Call From The West Coast

MANCHESTER, NH - The Los Angeles Kings, the parent club of the Manchester Monarchs, have recalled forward Jeff Giuliano from the Monarchs and assigned forward Gabe Gauthier to Manchester, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi today announced.
Giuliano, 28, has four points (3-1=4) and 14 penalty minutes in 23 games with the Monarchs this season. The 5-foot-9, 205-pound native of Nashua, New Hampshire, has played in 48 career NHL games - all with the Kings during the 2005-06 season - and has seven points (3-4=7) and 26 penalty minutes. Giuliano signed with the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on August 12, 2005, and wears jersey No. 29.
Gauthier, 23, has zero points and zero penalty minutes in three games with the Kings this season. He has also played in 21 games with the Monarchs this season where he was tied for the team-lead in goals with eight and was second on the team in scoring with 27 points at the time of his recall to the Kings (December 2). The 5-foot-9, 193-pound native of Torrance, California, has played in eight career NHL games - all with the Kings - and has zero points and two penalty minutes. Gauthier was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent on July 7, 2006.
The Monarchs host the Portland Pirates on Friday, December 14 at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
