Rinne Recalled by Nashville

Milwaukee - Nashville Predators Executive Vice-President/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has recalled goaltender Pekka Rinne from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League. In addition, the Admirals have announced that they have recalled goalie Dov Grumet-Morris from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Rinne has posted an 11-8-1 record so far this season with a 2.36 goals against average and a.914 save percentage. The Kempele, Finland native has posted one shutout this year and has allowed just one goal in his last three starts. Nashville's 10th choice in the 2004 NHL Draft, Rinne is 1-1 with a 3.81 GAA in a pair of games for the Preds.

Grumet-Morris is 9-2-1 with a 2.52 goals-against average and .901 save percentage for the Cyclones this year. The Harvard University alum was 2-1-1 with a.960 save percentage and a 1.23 GAA in four games with Manitoba (AHL) last season, including a March 27th, 2-1 shoot-out loss to the Admirals.
