Gauthier Invited to Boston Bruins Development Camp

PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club is pleased to announce goaltenders Taylor Gauthier ('01) has been invited to the Boston Bruins' Development Camp.

Gauthier is one of five goaltenders and 34 players invited to the camp which opened today and runs through to Friday, June 28th in Boston.

Gauthier played in 55 games this past season, where he collected 15 wins and sported a 3.25 goals-against average (GAA) and an .899 save percentage (SV%). He was tied for sixth in the WHL in shutouts with three. The Calgary, AB product was fourth in the WHL in shots against (1663) saves (1495) and games played (55) and fifth in minutes played (3101).

Gauthier played in the Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game in Red Deer, AB in January, and most recently played for Team Canada at the World Under-18 Hockey Championship in Sweden in April. Gauthier was the Cougars' first-pick, 10th overall, in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.
